The first step is creating a schedule, containing elements and parameters you want to edit. Then you use the plug-in to export this schedule to the xlsx format. You can edit exported files, using complex formulas, autofill and copy data from other sources. This allows you to add or edit parameters much faster, then using Revit built-in functionality.
The edited file then can be imported back into the Revit model, using the same plugin. All new information will be automatically added into the model, changing instance and type parameters values.
This plug-in is useful in situations when you need to calculate values, using formulas that are not possible in revit, for example because of units of measure. Also it allows you to replace data quickly, for example when the equipment supplier has changed.
