Creation of Online Calculators for a Client's Website
In this project, for a leading manufacturer of technical insulation for EPDM rubber pipes, we developed and implemented five online calculators for calculating the thickness of thermal insulation.
Each calculator was designed to address specific tasks while taking into account all the unique properties of the materials and the nuances of technical calculations:
1. Thickness of thermal insulation based on the specified temperature reduction or increase of the substance.
2. The insulation thickness for a given temperature of the outer surface.
3. The insulation thickness to prevent moisture condensation from the air on its surface.
4. Pipeline insulation to prevent liquid freezing when it is stopped.
5.Thermal insulation to prevent moisture condensation on the internal surfaces of ducts.

The initial material for developing the online calculators was Excel templates provided by the client.
Our specialists created the programming code that took into account all possible variations of calculation conditions. This included integration with a database containing regulatory requirements and materials, as well as the implementation of complex calculation algorithms that consider numerous factors such as temperatures, environmental conditions, pipe characteristics, and more.
In addition to the programming aspect, our team also designed the interface of the online calculators in Figma, which was successfully approved by the client and implemented on the company’s website.
